I don't know what it is but the hotspots in the North County region have been getting extinguished with a long fire hose of regrets as of late. It seems that anything that's awesome is not likely to last or anything that was awesome and thriving is now a dead zone. No heat on the kitchen burners, no wi-fi, no dolphins frolicking to the tune of their own synthesizers, just flame retardant flat obstacles as far as the eye can see. It's only a matter of time until everything in North County is fun stopped, under-built and tranny less...
The Two Hip Ditch used to be a real hot one, sure some dudes may have overbuilt their welcome with a hitching post and a wallride... But the city didn't have to go and tear out the quickcrete too. You would think that if someone recognized the hard work some dudes put into a spot, that someone would notice and let the spot flourish, turns out its always the complete opposite. The more attention and flair you bring to you and your spot, the more someone wants to tear it out and shut you down. Check the last photo of Evan to see how hot this spot really used to be...
